ACOUSTIC jazz AND GYPSY SWING

Renowned on the Isle of Wight for their high level of musicianship and unique sound, the Cat Skellington band is a wonderful addition to the cocktail hour/ champagne reception of a wedding party. The mixture of swing era jazz and beautifully played acoustic instruments instantly creates a classy and atmospheric backdrop to any event, ensuring that you relax and smile as your party begins! 

 

The music is reminiscent of 1930s Parisian swing made famous by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Typically the band plays as a trio or quartet with a combination of double bass, rhythm and lead guitars and clarinet/vocalist.

The band has full PA equipment and will arrive, set-up, play and pack away with the minimum of fuss, leaving you to enjoy the party (and perhaps tap your toes at the same time!)

Standard fee: £600 for quartet, 2 hours of music with a short interlude.
